When Contact Gets Stuck – Online Workshop
Exploring recurring organizational patterns through the Gestalt contact cycle
Organizations, like individuals, can develop recurring ways of responding to challenge, uncertainty and change. Some of these patterns may once have been useful, but over time they can become rigid and limit the organization’s capacity to respond to what is happening now.
When Contact Gets Stuck – A Gestalt Map of Organizational Patterns is a model I developed to explore these patterns through the Gestalt contact cycle.
Rather than treating them as organizational types or diagnoses, the model offers seven lenses for observing where contact may become constrained – from sensing what is happening, through awareness and mobilization, to action, contact, satisfaction and withdrawal.
In this 90-minute experiential online workshop, we will explore the model through practical organizational examples and participants’ own experience. We will also consider an important question behind each pattern: what might this way of functioning be protecting?
The workshop is intended for HR professionals, organizational consultants, coaches, leaders and Gestalt practitioners interested in working with organizations.
Next workshop: 24 September 2026
Time: 17:00 CEST
Format: Online | 90 minutes
Participation includes the digital booklet When Contact Gets Stuck – A Gestalt Map of Organizational Patterns.
Early bird registration is open.
